Regional Guide Series
Each of the three regional trail guides in our statewide series are colorful and spiral-bound, featuring maps, detailed site descriptions and color photos throughout. Each site description includes directions, access information, focal species and habitat listings, and on-site visitor amenities. “While You’re In The Area” listings at the end of each grouping offer additional visitor opportunities in the local area.

To help support the production of the other regional trail guides, the guides are being sold (at discount) for $10 through the NC Wildlife Resources Commission’s Wild Store. Anyone wishing to resell the Birding Trail guides must order through UNC Press (1-800-848-6224), whose suggested retail price for the book will be $18.95 per copy.
